Daniel 11:40

"At the time of the end, the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through."

In this prophetic context, the king of the South refers to Egypt and Israel. Egypt, a secular Sunni Muslim nation, has shown little tolerance for extremism. Recently, the military removed the Islamic Brotherhood government, which had been in power. This nation now finds itself in a volatile region, where it has volunteers and military forces fighting alongside Sunni rebels against Assad’s Shia government, which rules over a Sunni majority in Syria.

On the other hand, the king of the North represents the former Persian Empire, encompassing Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon.

The Complex Landscape of Conflict

In this tumultuous area, six distinct groups are engaged in fierce battles:

1. The Shia - This group governs Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

2. The Sunni - The majority in Syria, they are actively rebelling against the ruling party in both Syria and Iraq.

3. ISIS the Sunni extremists - They have formed a Sunni Caliphate in Syria and Iraq, fighting against everyone.

4. The Kurds - Protecting their own land from ISIS, they are also rebelling against the ruling powers in pursuit of independence.

5. The West - This coalition supports the Shia by disposing of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, while simultaneously backing the rebelling Sunnis in Syria.

   
   

The Start of World War 3

Daniel 11:29-30

"At the appointed time, he shall return and go toward the south; but it shall not be like the former or the latter. For ships from Chittim (Western nations) shall come against him; therefore, he shall be grieved and return in rage against the holy covenant, and do damage. So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant."

As soon as Iran (the king of the North) unleashes its full military might to attack Israel and its allies (the king of the South), ships from the West (Chittim) stationed in the Arabian Sea or Persian Gulf will respond immediately. They will deploy fighter jets, bombers, and missiles to obliterate Iran's military bases, nuclear sites, and arsenal.

This will ignite World War 3.

Matthew 24:6-7

"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places."

As World War 3 (WW3) looms on the horizon, the echoes of wars and natural disasters will resonate throughout the earth. With calamities potentially claiming a quarter of humanity, the world stands on the brink of destruction and desolation. Without divine intervention, countless souls may face starvation and despair.

Revelation 6:7-8

"When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, 'Come and see.' So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth."

Brethren, WW3 (World War 3) will inevitably reduce many to a state of poverty, desperation, and profound despair. The devastation wrought by Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas, and Hurricane Irma in the Caribbean serves as mere preludes to the catastrophic effects of World War 3. Yet, we give thanks to the Holy God, who will utilize World War 3 to protect and nourish His faithful servants, ensuring that His name is glorified.

The Urgency of Understanding

The days are indeed evil. Therefore, let us not be foolish, but rather strive to understand what the Lord's will is. (Ephesians 5:17)
