Is the Attack of Iran Imminent?
World War 3 is at Hand
Iran has been boasting that the first nuclear bomb will be to annihilate Israel.
Israel, on the other hand promised to destroy all Iranian nuclear facilities if there were signs of Iran making the nuclear bomb.
Attack of Israel on Iran's Nuclear Programme
Israel has targeted Iran’s nuclear programme before. It has assassinated a number of nuclear scientists over the years, and launched a number of attacks on the country’s nuclear facilities. Physical attacks have taken the form of drone strikes and commando raids, including one in January 2018 on a facility in Tehran, in which Mossad agents stole large numbers of classified documents which Netanyahu said proved Iran was pursuing a nuclear weapons programme.
In April 2021, Iran accused Israel of orchestrating an explosion at its primary uranium enrichment facility in Natanz, resulting in substantial damage to its centrifuges. This marked the second incident within a year involving a mysterious explosion at the site. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied its involvement in either attack.
Israel is also thought to have mounted a number of cyber attacks on Iran’s nuclear programme, most prominently in June 2010 with the introduction of Stuxnet computer malware into Iranian nuclear facilities. The Stuxnet malware was designed to severely disrupt centrifuge operations at Natanz and is thought to have set back Iran’s nuclear weapons programme by years.
Will Iran be like Iraq?
Iraq was attacked after the allegation in 2002 of Iraq having Weapons of Mass Destruction
President George W. Bush first referred to Iraq, Iran, and North Korea as an “axis of evil” in the State of the Union on January 29, 2002. On November 8, 2002, the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 1441, warning of “serious consequences” if Iraq did not offer unrestricted access to UN weapons inspectors.
On August 26, 2002, in a speech at the Veterans of Foreign Wars 103rd National Convention, Vice President Dick Cheney said, “Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction.
US attack of Iraq was Illegal
Following a failed attempt to appeal to the United Nations for a mandate to invade Iraq, the United States, along with forces from Australia, Denmark, Netherlands, Poland, and Great Britain launched Operation Iraqi Freedom on March 19, 2003.
On May 1, 2003, President George W. Bush declared the “end of major combat operations,” and the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) was established as the first of several successive transitional governments.
No Weapon of Mass Destruction
After the invasion, it was revealed that there were no stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and that the United States government’s allegations thereof had been based on unreliable or misinterpreted intelligence. Because of this false allegation (or possibly the plot to change the regime) of the US, up to a million Iraqis were killed and the country in ruins.
Death of Saddam
On December 13, 2003, Saddam Hussein was captured by United States special forces. Hussein was eventually sentenced to death for crimes against humanity in 2006 by an Iraqi court. His sentence was carried out near Baghdad on December 30, 2006.
With this allegation that Iran can assemble a nuclear bomb within 1-2 weeks, is the attack of Israel and/or US on the Iranian nuclear sites imminent?
The days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is" (Ephesians 5:17)
